https://m.facebook.com/thehiphopnutcrackerThis event is part of "The Crackalackin' Season of Classical Music" featuring classical music-based events. We call it crackalackin' because that's urban slang for "what's happening" and "let's get going," which we believe describes the vital role classical music is playing in helping to build our audience in Washington Heights. Besides attracting classical music enthusiasts, UPCA's goal is also to ignite a new love for classical music in our community for residents who may not have had the opportunity to experience live performances before.
