LeBron James again demonstrates social conscience with 'I Can't Breathe' shirt



 NEW YORK — In the subterranean gymnasium at Baruch College in May, LeBron James answered non-basketball questions centered on his willingness to speak out against Donald Sterling.
The rest of his then-Miami Heat teammates had left the gym. It was just a few reporters and Heat media relations staffers. It was informal but serious, and James was sincere, open, comfortable and confident.
He explained his stance and why he spoke out.
Two weeks earlier and just one day after Sterling's infamous racially insensitive comments were leaked, James was one of the first, if not the first, to call for Sterling's ouster as Clippers owner.
"There is no room for Donald Sterling in our league," James said.
