    I joined this #NationalDayOfSilence in honor of what is going on in this crazy world we are currently living in today...I am 26 years old African American woman, who wishes that these violence wouldn't be happening in my generation but unfortunately it is like it did when my parents were coming up...I pray to God that when I do have children that they wouldn't have to witness what's going on in our society through hearing about it on the news daily, weekly, monthly, ect, and I know this might sound crazy but I pray to not have any sons at all...I will continue to fight for what is right for the rest of my life and at this moment, I have SLIM respect for police officers today and that probably will always be, I REFUSED to date or marry a man that happens to be a police officer.
