Bay Area Rapper The Jacka Shot And Killed

Dominic Newton, 37, better known by his stage name “The Jacka,” was killed in the shooting at 94th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard about 8:15 p.m., KPIX-TV reported.
The victim was shot in the head, police said. He died at Highland Hospital in Oakland.
No arrest has been made.
Numerous police officers were called to the scene to deal with crowd control and to take witness statements, authorities said.
Newton got his start with the group Mob Figaz.
