Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's
daughter was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home -- and taken to a
hospital where she is now breathing ... TMZ has learned.
Bobbi Kristina Brown's husband Nick Gordon
and a friend found her in the tub ... according to police in Roswell,
GA. We're told her husband and friend immediately started CPR on her ...
until police and paramedics arrived.
We're told police took over life-saving measures on the scene -- and then she was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Doctors have now stabilized her breathing, and we're told she is in ICU.
Still unclear why Bobbi fell unconscious. We're told a friend made the call to 911 from Bobbi's house.
The circumstances are especially eerie -- Whitney died in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton on February 11 ... three years ago.

Iggy Azalea Responds To Eve & Jill Scott's 'Blaccent' Comments: 'I'm Myself'
Seriously when I 1st heard Fancy I thought that was the Da Brat rapping and Iggy sounds like Da Brat. So I wonder if Da Brat had put out that song How popular would it have been?
Following a heated Twitter exchange with Azealia Banks and being schooled on Hip Hop by Q-Tip, Iggy Azalea is back in headlines once again.
This time the Australian-born rapper is responding to recent comments by fellow rapper-actress Eve and singer Jill Scott, who recently shared their thoughts on Azalea, her “blaccent” and how it may all contribute to cultural appropriation during an appearance last week on “Sway In The Morning.”
“She’s representing a group of girls right now as well. And yeah, I think people right now are too quick to give too many accolades to new people,” Eve admitted to show host Sway Calloway. “That’s the one thing I just can’t stand. Let her do her thing. It’s not my cup of tea but she’s representing for somebody. She’s doing her thing. What are you gonna do?”
Jill Scott added; “It’s a little challenging for me, because I come from the era that she pulled from…To me it’s a mixture of Da Brat and Eve, the way that it sounds. That’s what it sounds like to me…it [the tone of her voice] also sounds like a big bite to me. The blaccent.” Eve continued Scott’s thoughts. “She’s from a different place, and it would be dope to hear with her swag.”
As expected, Iggy took to her personal Twitter account yesterday to respond to the Grammy Award-winning pair’s thoughts.

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will agree to May 2 fight
Three days after Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao reportedly met privately in Miami hotel room to hash out details of their proposed May 2 fight, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is now saying he expects a formal agreement to be finalized in “the next couple days.”
“Everybody is doing the right thing,” Arum told The New York Post on Friday. “We’re looking to complete the paperwork. Everything is moving in the right direction. Hopefully, the next couple of days it will get done.”
Arum, who has had an antagonistic relationship with Mayweather throughout the years, described himself as “optimistic” and added, “The issues are being narrowed down to extraordinarily small points.”
One of the biggest issues that stood in the way of the proposed May 2 fight were the broadcast rights. Mayweather is under contract with CBS/Showtime, while Pacquiao works with Time Warner/HBO. But according to the New York Post, both networks have said they would not oppose the fight, wherever it landed on the pay-per-view dial.
In fact, there’s a very good chance it would be available on both. ESPN points out a joint PPV telecast was successfully negotiated once before in 2002 when heavyweights Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson faced each other for the title.

Suge Knight kills 'close friend' Terry Carter in hit-and-run
Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight was involved in a
hit-and-run in Compton, Calif., that left one man dead and another
injured on Thursday.
Knight’s attorney, James E. Blatt, confirmed to EW that Knight ran over two bystanders when he tried to escape an altercation with two other men on the set of a film project where Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were present.
Blatt confirmed that the victim is TV actor Terry Carter (of McCloud and the original Battlestar Galactica) and was a close friend of Knight’s. The second victim, whom Blatt identified as Cle Sloan, is in unknown condition, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The incident is still under investigation by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Details About CBS Sports Analyst's Greg Anthony Prostitution Arrest
Court documents have revealed new details about the prostitution
arrest of basketball analyst and former NBA player Greg Anthony in
Washington.
Court documents describe the conversation Anthony had with an undercover officer before his arrest Jan. 16 at a Washington hotel. The documents show the undercover officer told Anthony that intercourse would cost $80. Asked if he wanted her to "dress up," he responded "oh yeah," the court documents say.
The documents also explain more about how Anthony wound up in room 805 of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Anthony responded to an escort ad authorities placed in the escort section of the classifieds website Backpage.com, a court document says.
Anthony, 47, was suspended by CBS and Turner Sports following his arrest.

Open Letter to Young Black Hollywood: Ending Segregation by Russell Simmons
There is a story that Elijah Muhammad would often tell about a mule
that was chained to a tree for many, many years. Finally, when the mule
was unchained, he still didn't leave the tree's side. You may already
know where I'm going with this: When I was a young record guy, I would
go to Hawaii and hang with the chairmen of various media companies
(mostly music). Sure, the hotel suites were a bit expensive, but there I
was, hanging with some of the most exciting people in the entertainment
business (many of them have now become some of my longest friendships).
Even though we are talking over 30 years ago, I never got to see a sign
that said "Whites Only" -- real or imagined. The fact is that good
business relationships in communications businesses are mostly built
outside the shared workspace. If you want to make lasting connections,
you too will have to go outside of your comfort zone and make new
friends.
I guess about 29 years ago -- before I could even afford it (and for the record, this place is still expensive to me!) -- I would go to St. Barth's during the holidays, because I knew that was where a lot of the record, fashion and film executives would vacation. If that was where a lot of the successful people with common interests were hanging out, I was going to crash that party -- and eventually throw the party. (The last 17 years I have thrown the best party on the island.) Many of them I got to know personally before they even knew what kind of businesses I was trying to create. In fact, I didn't always know either! Who would have thought I would meet David Rosenberg and we would build a multi-hundred-million-dollar-valued financial-services company? Many of these friendships have been some of the most rewarding relationships in my lifetime. I have so many examples of my success through honest integration that it would take a huge manuscript to go into all of them here, but I will provide a few examples: The truth is that Aerosmith didn't seek out Run-DMC; we went to them. It was a white kid from NYU, Rick Rubin, who later became the co-founder of Def Jam, who saw the potential of the Beastie Boys. I built clothing companies with Syrian Jews from Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn. I had at least 20 different licenses with 20 different families. I couldn't guess how many Shabbat dinners I had. I got so close to that community that I almost moved to Ocean Parkway. (That is a joke, kind of; Kimora was having so much fun and making so much money with Baby Phat that she actually was looking at houses there.) I then introduced these friends to Jay Z and Nelly. We went on to build, conservatively speaking, over $8 billion in business.

Exclusive Interview with Ione Rucker #lovethysister
The Adventures of
IONE RUCKER
Love Thy Sister... part 2
By Belinda Trotter James
IONE RUCKER
Love Thy Sister... part 2
By Belinda Trotter James
We spoke with all three sister from WE TV’s reality show, “Love Thy Sister” in part one of a four part interview last week. This week it’s all about IONE. Ione is the younger sister of the three on the show. She is a fun loving, open-minded mother of three small children, Kathryn, AJ and Rucker with her ex-husband, Antawn Jamison, ex-NBA player. No questions were off limit to me however, I had to consider that they were respected mothers and business women in their communities. Well, to my surprise I was looking at E!’s television series called The Soup with host, Joel McHale which gives a recap of events or funny clips of the week’s television shows. One of the clips was Ms. Ione in the bathroom using a vibrator and her sister walked in on her!!! Wow! The huge walk-in shower had no doors. The camera guy saw everything and The Soup TV show loved it. Ione had some ‘explaining’ to do…
We all had a good laugh
and Ione explained, “Girl you know I was recently divorced and I haven't had sex
in over two years. I have three small children and I'm very involved with
them. We are always busy and I
hadn't gotten back into the dating scene yet so I did the safe and responsible
thing to do to release myself when I need to in the privacy of my own bedroom,
my own shower, my own home; it's very responsible of me. I don’t date a lot
and I felt the need to be focused on my children because it was a difficult time
for me and my children. So, I just
use a vibrator and I feel it's very liberating for women. Men have been
masturbating for years and its okay, but when a woman does it, that’s the clip
you see on The Soup. That's fine and it's all good because I signed up for this.
I thought it would be very empowering to show women that you don’t always need a
man. I didn't need a man at the time so I used a sex toy. My parents’ generation
thinks it’s just so out of this world crazy, but our younger generation have
been doing it for years. So I just think it's something that I'm okay with. I'm
not ashamed that I used a vibrator and I think it's a very responsible thing to
do as a mother with small children to release my stress and my energy when I
need to. We all laughed and said, ‘Okay, we got it’. Ione went on to say, “When
they saw me doing that, I felt like we are on a women's network, it's women's
entertainment and I felt like it was empowering for me to show that on
TV.”
Ruby added, “I think a lot of times women think that we just have to have a man and a lot of it is because of loneliness and our sex drive. I think like Ione said it's empowering to show women that you can do that on your own too and you don't need a man to do that with and you can release yourself by yourself.” Ellen chimed in to say, “When you have young kids you don't want all types of men in and out of your home either and that was very responsible of Ione to show that she's not going to have all types of men around her children.”
Well, we know how Ione takes care of herself physically, but how does she deal mentally with being without her husband to help run a household with three small children and try to put some type of normalcy in her own social life as a young eligible woman? Ione says, "It was very hard at first mentally, but once again I leaned a lot on my family. I am so thankful and blessed I have my sisters around me as my support system. Ellen lives right in the same neighborhood, Ruby lives up the street and I just leaned on my family during that time. And of course my faith in God; I just prayed and I got through it. It was very hard; I felt like I was in a state of depression for probably a year because I had three small kids; my baby was under two years old so it was very hard. I’m sure a lot of people who can relate that have been through divorce known that life goes on after a divorce and you can find your groove again and life can be fulfilling after a divorce.”

“It was just hard for me
to start dating again and bringing people around my children because my
ex-husband is a great father and I don't really like saying that I'm a single
mother because my ex-husband is very much a part of my kids life which I am
really grateful for. A huge
shout out for that because some men just walk away from their wife and their
children; he never did that. He has always been a huge part of my kids’ life and
even my nieces and nephews. He baby sits all my nieces and nephews so as a black
man I just want to give him a shout out for that. He could have stepped away from this
entire family, but he never did."
Her sisters also agreed and gave Antawn Jamison a big shout out along
with lots of love. “He is still uncle Antawn to all the kids”, says
Ruby.
It's wonderful to find your knight in shining armor however, when it starts to get a little rusty, you have to start all over to find another knight. It can be a little scary and intimidating to start dating again. On the next few episodes of Love Thy Sister you will see Ione tackle the dating scene once again. "You will see me dating all types of men; younger men and older men", begins Ione. “I was like…hmmm… you know what… I got married young in my early 20s. I'm just going to go out to see what's out there. After I stopped being depressed, I started to date and date and date. I started dating all types of men again.” Ellen told Ione not to give everything away so Ione said, “Just tune in and see what happens.” As we see Ione start to get her confidence back to go on a quest to find love again, will there be room in her heart to marry again? Ione replies, "You know possibly, but right now my main focus is to raise my children. My number one focus is to raise healthy, happy, successful children. I’m not focused on getting married again at this point in my life.”
Don’t feel sorry for Ione. She has a lot to keep her busy in this chapter of her life. One of the ways she gives back to the community is by making education a priority in the lives of children. She started The Rucker Education Fund which gives out scholarships. “The Rucker Education Fund is something we started about three years ago,” explains Ione. Both of our grandparents were educators in Lancaster South Carolina for many years. Our grandfather was the superintendent for all the black schools in Lancaster and a school was named after him, the A R Rucker Middle School in our hometown of Lancaster. Since I have the education background, I felt the need to honor them. I majored in elementary education at Spellman College and went on to Converse College to get my Masters in elementary education. I felt that there was a need for me to do it because I have that background. We give out scholarships to deserving students from Lancaster, South Carolina who went through A R Rucker Middle School. We gave out our first two scholarships last year and it's just a great cause to give back to the community of Lancaster. We have an annual fundraiser fashion show every year. The fundraiser has really been huge here in Charlotte and we just hope that it only grows to become something even bigger so that we can help more kids out of Lancaster."

Check out Ione on Twitter to tell her
what you thought of her dates. The
next sister I will chat with is Ellen Rucker to see how the next chapter in her
life is shaping up and if Ruby is correct in her observation that Ellen’s
boyfriend, Bakari is simply not into her enough to put a ring on it. Stay tuned and watch the show on
Thursdays. Visit the sister’s website at http://www.TheRuckerSisters.com

‘Being Mary Jane’ Returns In February 2015
Fans of BET’s scripted show Being Mary Jane will have to wait a little longer for their show to return. BET announced that Season 2 the popular show starring Gabrielle Union as Mary Jane Paul, won’t return to the airways until Tuesday, February 3rd.
The good news is that this season has been upped from 8 to 12 1 hour episodes with a season finale on April 21st.
Creator Mara Brock Akil and her husband director Salim Akil are back as the behind-the-scenes creative team. Earlier this year, BET announced that The Game, also created by Akil would be finishing up its run.
Via the press release, the second season of Being Mary Jane will find Mary Jane once again juggling more than she can handle. On the home front, while both of her brothers seem to be getting their lives on the right track, her mother and niece are at war, causing everyone in the family to choose sides.

"POWER" OR "EMPIRE They both are great shows and suggest that everyone give Power a shot because it was out 1st and many may not have known about the show. Many reasons due to some people cable packages. As we all know that Empire is on Fox and Power is on Starz and due to that matter Power will be lacking many viewers who would have caught this great show if you didn't have to decide which cable package you want. Well my choice was to ether have HBO or Starz included in my cable package, but here the catch the price to include HBO was crazy and really the only thing I would be missing is HBO Boxing. So I decided STARZ because they do have great programs such a Power. So for those who do have Starz make sure to catch the 2nd Season of POWER.
Starz has released the trailer to Season 2 of its hit show, ‘Power,’ starring Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Andy Bean, Sinqua Walls, Adam Huss, Luis Antonio Ramos, La La Anthony, J.R. Ramirez, Debbi Morgan, Shane Johnson, and Enrique Murciano.

From executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh (“The Good Wife”),“Power” returns this summer with a 10-episode second season.

CORRECT INFO! Singer, Mya was not STRIPPING at a Miami Strip Club as reported!
R&B singer, and Grammy winner, Mya, is currently being slandered and judged heavily on twitter and IG for dancing and performing on stage at G5IVE, last night in Miami for “Divas Friday.”But truth to the facts is that she was performing at this strip club last night and she decided to do some sexy dance moves to entertain the crowd as all female entertainers do these days and NOW SHE A STRIPPER.
Here is the flyer Live Performance. Now we all know that Mya always wore sexy outfits and into today's music industry the less the better. RIGHT? But if she had done the same dance moves in a concert setting would she have been called a stripper?
What is sad what many will do to get HITS for their blogsites, websites or whatever they want to call it. And i say that is degrading to Mya as a performer whereas she performed at the strip club and gave a show. Yes their were strippers on stage and in 2015 you get what you ask for.
Mya has been on tour all over the world performing and when a woman of color do something you may never expected you got caught off guard and took the time out to post a negative post instead of what really happened.
So many read the incorrect post looking to see if she was STRIPPING and was surprise many had lied or misrepresented what was posted on the internet which we all know negative news travel faster then positive news.

Exclusive Interview With Daphne Wayans
DAPHNE
WAYANS
The New Look of Relationships/Parenting
By Belinda Trotter James
By Belinda Trotter James
A momprenuer is a woman who takes
care of the home, children, husband and can etch out time to have a career or
participate in a glamorous photo shoot for Marisa Kenson without disrupting the
harmonious flow of family time. I
have met such a woman who fits the mold of a momprenuer perfectly. It's so perfect that she teaches others
how to do the same. I won’t keep
you in suspense any longer as I reveal the name of the fabulous Daphne
Wayans.
Most people know her as the ex-wife of
one of the most creative, talented men in Hollywood, Keenan Ivory Wayans. In this exclusive interview Daphne
reveals how she and her five children survived a nasty divorce and is now in a
place of harmony, peace and writing for the Huffington Post as a relationship
and parenting expert…
When you think about Daphne Wayans, one
would say she has everything. You
would be surprised to know that there is one thing she does not have in her
house and that’s a television!!!
Thank goodness for neighbors who invite her over to watch some of the
reality or award shows. I had to ask myself if I would survive without a
television? The answer would be,
‘Yes’, but don't feel sorry for her because she and the children have Apple
devices in the house where they can watch something if they choose to. "I
am fascinated by the shows", says Daphne. “Sometimes I will go to my friends’
house, but I will not have that stuff in my own home.” Not one of her five children complains
about not having a television in the home. “I have a saying”, states Daphne, ‘If
it's that important, it will get to me’ and it does. I don't miss out on
anything. I don't hear about things that upset my life and I have peace; my home
is like a sanctuary and I'm not disturbed by sensationalism. My neighbor has a
television and oh, this is the trick… there are six of us in the house and we
have 35 Apple devices so TV is not the only way to see things. I just don't have
a big thing selling commercials in my house and being obtrusive.”
“There is no noise in my house; my
children read a tremendous amount and we actually commune together. My home is
my sanctuary; we treat it like a temple.
We don't wear shoes in the house, the lighting is intimate and it's an
intimate place. It's my nest where
I take care of my babies and nurture all the ones that I love. We go to the
movies a lot and we have lots of devices so we have access to things. Sometimes
the award shows come on and people will ask if we want to see it and I will say,
‘No, we can't; we have somewhere to go’. My house is very communal in the
sense that my kids are always together and it's not like someone is off in their
room alone watching television and just away. We are doing things together,
living together and sharing our experiences. Sometimes I will be in the
kitchen an embarrassing amount of hours cooking because I love it and it makes
me happy. I have these very creative outlets. Sometimes I’m cooking for 15 hours
because I don't realize what time it is and I just lose myself in it and they
[the children] just come in and out and they talk to each other and they talk to
me or they talk to their friends and we're just living, but TV sounds awesome.
Whenever I see all those channels,
I watch it like it's my first time seeing the
device.”
It seems like her children don't
complain or even miss having televisions in the house. Daphne adds, "Let
me just say this… besides the 35 devices we also have my ex-husband that lives
down the street from me and it’s like a different world. They have television at
his house. I don't mean to glamorize divorce as they say, but I call it the new
family and it really works well for us.
We share the time with our children 50-50. They are one week at one place and one
week at the other so we are all constantly changing and it's really nice
because we never miss each other. I mean we are always kind of missing each
other, but we never get sick of each other. We never really get sick of
each other because we are never really with each other long
enough."
Daphne was very young when she met Keenen. We started to talk about their divorce and she lovingly said, “Since we have children, there is no way a couple can be divorced. We are a family with parents who are not married anymore, but we are still a family,” explains Daphne. “There is no name for it. I want to try to create a name when exes have separated, but are still family. We are not husband and wife anymore, but we're something. It's not cousins, it’s not brother or sister, but we’re something to each other. We have to coin a new phrase because the word ‘ex’ is something that the relationship was. When you think of a mother and a child, it refers to what the relationship was. I realize that all relationships are friendships and they all have titles just like in the movies. Since I live out here in Los Angeles, I see there are actors and actresses who play roles. So, in life you're all friends and then you have this title. When you become an adult your parents are more like your friends, but you have this history that they were once your mother and father and they did a good job with you and you want to continue the friendship. You don't need your mother and father to do the things as parents that they did when you were a kid like helping you across the street or brushing your teeth.”
She continues to say, “My mother hasn't had to mother me for a very long time. She hasn't had to wipe my nose or make sure I'm enrolled in school or feed me good food for very, very long time. The further away we get from that time, the less she will have to mother me and in turn she becomes more of a friend. We have that history that she is my mother and got me to a good place so that I could take over my life to make my own decisions, but right now she's much more my friend even though I still call her mom. And every time I call her my mom I'm reminded of the time we had when I was little. I don't need her to mother me anymore; that's just the name of the role she played in my younger life.”

“With my children I really try not
to treat them as items. They are not my purse, my shoes or my things;
they are my children. I want them to make decisions and I want to put them in a
safe environment and be a good example as well as put good examples around
them.” Being human involves many
different layers. As Daphne
explained how relationships start out as one thing and end up being another she
hoped it all made sense. At that
moment we just couldn't figure out a name that would acknowledge parents who are
not together anymore, but are still partners in raising their children together.
Sometimes divorce and the titles we give ourselves don’t fit the makeup of the
relationship.
"I went through a nasty divorce,” reveals Daphne. “What I found out was that the divorce was indicative of a deeply loving marriage and it was just time for that to change because we've been together for a really long time. It was just time to change just like a mother changes from treating her baby like a little baby and letting a young man be a young man. It's a similar kind of thing and it could be a little struggle in that change in reorganizing the family structure. So in my marriage what remained was a friendship. That's what was there after all the kicking and screaming. Divorce isn’t the right title to use especially when you have children. Maybe you can divorce if you don't have children, but when you have five children, there's no such thing. We’re not a couple anymore, but we are definitely partners."
When partners do decide to separate and dissolve the marriage and there are children involved, what do you say to those faces that you brought into the world… into your world? Daphne explains, "I just kept telling them it's going to be different. I just communicated with them fully and truthfully. I have heard children say, ‘My parents divorced because of me’, my children never said that and they never wanted to be in the middle of it. So it was very good and easy. They felt, ‘This is between the both of you guys. We love both of our parents’ and they didn't want to hear anything about it. They got to experience their parents on their own, individually".
For some divorce can look really crazy for all parties however, children of divorce are forced into a situation which allows them to experience one parent at a time. It kind of strengthens the bond because the other parent isn't there to pick up the slack. Now dads truly know what it is to take care of a child full-time and can no longer say, ‘Go to your mother or go ask your mother.’ Now dad has to figure it out all by himself and mothers may have to pick up some of the responsibilities of the father as well. "They had to figure it out for themselves,” remembers Daphne. “They were four little girls that needed their hair done and other girl stuff. I think we both grew to have a greater appreciation of the other like, ‘Oh wow! This is what you do?’ And then I felt the same about him, like, ‘Wow! You pay a lot of bills’ and he felt, Wow; you do all of this every morning to get them ready for school?’ So we had a greater appreciation for each other.”
The question that everyone should ask themselves is can couples realistically feel they can have it all… the 24-hour careers, traveling, kids, quality family time, being a good wife/husband, living a luxurious lifestyle… Can you have it all? "Of course… You just do it. You make your reality,” says Daphne. “You make it per you and don’t get involved in the ‘what you're supposed to do’. When you involve yourself in ‘What am I supposed to do?, You're supposed to do this, you’re supposed to do that…’ when that’s your thinking process, then it's a wrap and that's where you go wrong and get in a little trouble.”
Yesteryear the word divorce was like a horrible, horrible disease that seemed to strip vital resources and happiness from a family. Today's modern family of divorce has changed 360°. It is no longer the death of a family unit. As you can see it works very, very well for Daphne, Keenen and their children. "It's not a bad thing; it's just a transformation of the family." says Daphne. "It's like anything else where you add parts and reconfigure. So when you reconfigure, you're still mom and dad. Divorce never speaks to what happens to the family. You say to yourself, 'Damn we're divorced, but what should we do about being mom and dad. It's like a misnomer". On Daphne’s blog she goes into detail about the subject of divorce in a piece she calls, The New Divorce And How It Affects The Modern Family. It definitely gives insight into what happens in a divorce to the family unit.
In speaking with Daphne she definitely practices what she preaches because you can feel that her spirit is harmonious and at peace with her life as it is in this moment in time with her divorce and the relationship she has with her children as well as her ex husband, Keenen. It is definitely a blessing to be at peace with where you are in life because some women cannot get past the resentment and feeling that they should be reaping the rewards of the foundation that was built in the beginning of the friendship/relationship/
Love, marriage and divorce are topics
that can go on forever in a million directions and as a writer for the
Huffington Post she tackles all those topics and more. "I write for them and it was something
my publicist was able to arrange for me, but I wanted to write for them because
it felt like they needed me and I needed them. It was very mutual and it's a broad
audience so it just made sense. I get a lot of feedback from everywhere
because when I do something once it's published, I disperse it throughout my
social media world so I hear from everyone”, says
Daphne.
She has become an expert in her own right by having five children and knowing what it takes to have a friendship, be married and then divorced from your partner. Her experience has allowed her to start writing two books at the same damn time on relationships and parenting. She is the type of writer who can dig deep within to pull up some very insightful views on the human experience when it comes to relationships. I'm not saying she has extra superpowers, but when you have no television in the house, your other senses get 100 times more powerful.
With her Huffington Post gig having a large audience along with her social media followers who look to her for advice she says, “To be honest I really don't like to advise people on their situations because a person knows what they should do and it's their perspective. I never want anyone to say, ‘She told me to do this.’ I want people to take responsibility for their lives and decide what they should do by looking at it because they have to live with it. I don't even tell my own children what to do. I use a few tools and I say, ‘How would you feel if that was you? How would that make you feel? Just be that other person for a minute.’ This really gives them the skill set to think about their own life. So for the most part I try not to advise people. I just say, ‘When I was in that position, this is the way that I handled it.’ I'm not that person and that person has to live with the consequences of a decision made good or bad. Usually when things don't turn out well they want to blame someone else for the bad decision made; so I really do try to avoid being in that position. I just really try to guide them toward their own knowingness. Usually a person knows the answer; they just want approval.”
Daphne loves the parenting part of her life, but don’t give her your kids to parent. Reality TV has produced shows that allow us to look into the world of parents who have no control over their own children. An expert had to come in and incorporate parenting techniques to the home. What would Daphne do? "That doesn't help a parent to fix it,” she replies. “Obviously it brings some calm to the scene, but it doesn't establish a rapport between the child and the parent. Sometimes there are some very lazy parents who don't want to be the bad guy. In that case they don't want to be responsible for anything and they'll ask someone else to do it. I get asked all the time to parent someone else's kids and I have to say, ‘No, this is your child and you have to take responsibility for this kid and put them in a safe environment.’ For example, there are some things you wouldn't tolerate from a friend. I would never let my friend talk to me that way or let a stranger talk to me like that. Nothing warrants having a rude or impolite disposition. My kids and I see kids that are just rude. It's rude the way some kids speak to their parents." Some parents or mothers also get into trouble in their relationship when extreme mothering gets to the point where nothing else matters including their marriage and everything becomes secondary or ignored. Daphne adds, "Yeah they don't have a life of their own. They learn the hard way."
In her spare time Daphne loves helping other people and often volunteers to lend a hand to The Way To Happiness Foundation, which also has a book with the same name. "It's a wonderful book of precepts of all the spiritual books put into one book regarding the names of the Gods and religious figures,” says Daphne. “I love it so much and I try to use it in my every day life and it doesn't get in the way of religious beliefs. So when I say to you I don't tell my children what to do, I just find general rules of life. The same rules that apply to children apply to adults. A child has responsibilities just like an adult.” Daphne also helps out with the Keep A Child Alive Foundation. “That's Alicia Keys organization,” explains Daphne. “She is so active in that and I love it. She is one of my sister friends. All of the efforts of the organization go towards keeping a child alive in Africa. She had T-shirts made up that said, ‘Drug Dealer’ because they provide medicine to the children in Africa.”
In her spare, spare time Daphne is busy on Instagram… “I am mentoring 40 women on how to be a mompreneur,” reveals Daphne. “It’s a new area I am exploring so that moms can stay at home and be with their children and they can also be at home with their husbands and really take care of the home and at the same time bring in a little income by having their own businesses where the home life isn't compromised. It's pretty awesome."

Video-Blake Griffin Pulls Trainers Head Toward His Crotch
Personally we really don't post nonsense, but I find this dsirespectful and not funny!
Blake Griffin a player respected by many in the NBA decided to play a game last night while his trainer was working on his knees and pull his trainer head towards his crotch area on national T.V. It might seem like a joke but to me is this a form of Sexual Harassement?

Spike Lee's new stylized thriller DA SWEET BLOOD OF JESUS is a new kind of love story. Dr. Hess Green (Stephen Tyrone Williams) becomes cursed by a mysterious ancient African artifact and is overwhelmed with a newfound thirst for blood. He however is not a vampire. Soon after his transformation he enters into a dangerous romance with Ganja Hightower (Zaraah Abrahams) that questions the very nature of love, addiction, sex, and status in our seemingly sophisticated society.

Disturbing Video Shows man shot by New Jersey police raising his hands
BRIDGETON, N.J. (AP) — With the
dashboard camera in their cruiser rolling, police pulled a Jaguar over
for running a stop sign on a dark night. But things suddenly turned
tense when one of the officers warned his partner that he could see a
gun in the glove compartment.
Screaming over
and over "Don't you f---ing move!" and "Show me your hands!" at the man
in the passenger seat, the officer reached into the car and appeared to
remove a silver handgun.
Then,
the passenger, despite being warned repeatedly not to move, stepped out
of the Jaguar, his hands raised about shoulder level.
The officers opened fire, killing him.
The
video of the Dec. 30 killing of Jerame Reid in Bridgeton, a struggling,
mostly minority city of 25,000 people just south of Philadelphia, was
released this week, raising questions and stirring anger over another
death at the hands of police.
